Workplace technology specialist Spor Group has underlined the benefits of providing a complete solution with the acquisition of interior deign consultancy Squaredot.

The name Squaredot is a familiar one across the channel, with customers including SCC among a host of others spread across both public and private sectors.

The plan is for the firm to operate out of its Stratford-upon-Avon base, but also use Spor Group’s operations in Manchester.

Kris Krokosz will remain as managing director of Squaredot, working alongside David Kramer as business consultant. The firm’s existing customer base won’t see a change in service and support. Spor Group co-founder Chris Gore will become the group’s strategic director.

“Our focus has always been on helping organisations get more from their workplace technology, not simply installing equipment,” he said. “By combining the strengths of Spor Group and Squaredot, we can broaden the expertise and support we provide to customers while creating an even stronger platform for future growth.

“It is also important to us that Squaredot’s existing customers continue to have access to the people and specialist knowledge they know and trust. Kris and David remaining with the business is a key part of that continuity, while the wider Spor Group resources give the team new opportunities to develop and expand what they can offer.”

Wider pitch

“The acquisition brings together complementary expertise, experience and relationships, creating a strong platform for continued growth and development,” he said. “Existing clients will continue to benefit from the knowledge and specialist experience that have been at the heart of the business, alongside the additional resources and opportunities that the acquisition provides.”

Elsewhere in the market, Accesso Technology Group shared its Interim results for the six months ended 30 June, highlighting the positive impact of its acquisition of Dexibit, which formed its Intelligence unit.

Lee Cowie, CEO of Accesso, said that since he stepped into the role at the start of May, his focus has been on unif
