A delegation from Wasteman Ghana led by its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-Founder, Mr Mark Benjamin has paid a courtesy call on the Volta Regional Minister, James Gunu at his office at Ho.

The visit was to formally introduce the company and also explore potential areas of collaboration to advance sanitation issues and initiatives in the region.

During the engagement, the Wasteman team highlighted their experience as a registered waste management company with over four (4) years of operational expertise in structured waste collection and community education on responsible waste disposal. The delegation emphasized the Company’s commitment to delivering practical and scalable solutions to improve sanitation outcomes while supporting local environmental goals.

The delegation also commended the Minister for his recent remarks on sanitation as well as his commitment to strengthening waste management systems in addition to promoting environmental sustainability. The team also described the Regional Minister’s leadership as timely in addressing critical challenges in the sanitation sector.

In his response, Hon. Gunu welcomed the initiative and commended the group for their proactive role in promoting a clean and safe environment. He reaffirmed the commitment of the Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC) to collaborate with the company to enhance sanitation issues across the region.

He expressed his readiness to build a strong and productive partnership with Wasteman Ghana so as to support and sustain improved sanitation efforts across the length and breadth of the region.
